Improvy OÜ is a small software company. We build tools that help people communicate and understand information a bit more clearly. If a feature doesn't help in a real situation, it doesn't ship. If it adds friction, it goes.

We try to keep things simple: collect less, explain why, give people control. When a trade-off is unavoidable, we say so in plain language and choose the option that keeps the person using the product in mind. We don't sell personal data.

Scale matters only because people rely on us. Our systems are designed to behave predictably under load and to fail transparently when they do. That steadiness - not theatrics - is the goal.

Improvy started as a hobby project. Our first experiment, a community catalog for Minecraft servers, is now closed, but it helped us identify what we care about: useful tools, respectful design, and clear boundaries. We registered the company in November 2021 to give that work a proper legal home and to keep improving it step by step. In 2024, we were selected for the Web Summit Alpha program. Recognition is nice; usefulness is the point.

We just try to make good software and speak plainly about what it does and doesn't do. The rest is ongoing work: small improvements, careful releases, listening, and adjusting.
